WoW PvP Guide

Facing a bit of trouble when fighting other players in WoW? Do you keep ending up on the ground with the little release button taunting you? Take a look at this WoW PvP Guide and get some help. The tips I will share in this WoW PvP guide will turn the tables helping you show your enemies the same pain you have been feeling all along.

The three main forms of pvp in WoW is Area, Battle Grounds(BG’s), and World-PvP. Each of them vary greatly in how they are done but each of them are the same in the end, you want to kill your opponents. How about we have a look at each variety of PvP there is to experience in WoW.

Open World PvP: More commonly known in game as “world pvp” this is basically ganking and fighting in the games world and not in a BG or Arena. This is to be expected in most of the PvP Server’s areas but not so much in the PvE Servers. Everyone at some point or other has been corpse camped by so annoying jerk. Usually these type of gankers are looking for areas that are popular places to gain exp at. While this provides a great dynamic to the game it can also be quite annoying in the same respect. A new style of World Pvp has shown up with the Lich King Expansion called Wintergrasp. This is a zone in Northrend devoted to one thing, “World Pvp”. You storm or protect a large fortress through the use of various tanks and other siege weapons.

A great tip for winning is to seize control of both of the workshops which are near the fort. There are a few workshops far away from the keep, but you should grab the ones closest to you. When defending you really need to hold on to those workshops, it will prevent enemies from sieging the fort too quickly.

It is also good to go after high value targets like siege machines, these are the main things that will tear down your fort. They have no way to get health back either, so destroy them quickly. These tips aren’t going to be as deep as what you could find while using a WoW PvP guide, but I do find them useful none the less.

Battleground Style PVP-Alterac Valley: Basically you want to take out the NPC leader of the other team. The best way to do this is to take out the enemies towers which despawns his guards. This is how you do it. Each side has 40 players for a max of 80. Makes sure your base has around ten people defending it along with 2 healers. Then send out the stealthers to steal towers. Most of the towers are not defended well so it shouldn’t be a problem. Everyone else needs to be killing the advanced forward captain as well as getting the towers that are in midfield. After you get all the towers in the enemy base capped, then you can go forth and slaughter the enemies NPC leader no matter what is going on in midfield. Many WoW PvP guides use this tactic and it works quite effectively.

Eye of the Storm: Basically the team who gets 2000 points first wins. Around this map are four towers that can be captured and a single flag in the middle of the zone. You get extra points for getting the flag to a tower you own, and you get a steady stream of points that increased with the number of towers you own. This is a great way to over take the enemies. If your enemies have 3 out of the 4 towers, grab the flag and run! Make sure a few people are guarding your backs. Hide with the flag, eventually people will stop guarding towers to find you. This gives everyone else on your team a chance to snag towers from them. I have rocked the balanced between the sides many times, this was a great tip I got from a WoW PVP Guide.

Warsong Gulch: This is basically capture the flag for WoW. Who ever caps the flag 3 times is the winner. There are many tricks to use that I saw in a WoW PvP guide which can be put to use. The first is to split the team up into flag defenders and flag hunters. Or you could try turtling on the flag while you send a bunch of stealthers to grab the other one. Both of these work depending on your team make up. If people don’t mind listening it can work out really nicely. Make sure there are some DPSer’s defending the flag from people trying to grab it while most of your team is controlling mid field. Send out a druid and some guards so he can run the flag. So when the druid is making like crazy to get across the field there will be plenty of people to help him.

Stand of the Ancients: This is basically like a mini-Wintergrasp with nearly the same goal. If you are on the attacking side, group up the tanks to tear down the first gate as soon as you are able to. Once you are done with that you need to grab the graveyard. Doing so will let your whole team get more tanks from the workshop there. After you get to the third gate you need to blow up the turrets. Many people will flock to this gate to prevent the tanks from getting by, at this point turret fire will be very annoying. When you are defending, it is essential to go straight for the enemy tanks while ignoring others. Make sure you have people ready to defuse bombs that people drop at the gate.

Arathi basin: Sort of like Eye of the Storm without a flag, you need to control as many areas as you can. A great way to do this is to go straight for the mid field points, the Blacksmith. Once you have the middle ground you can send troops to other areas more smoothly. Once the BG starts head straight for the Blacksmith, there will always be others to grab which ever base is closest to you. A lot of WoW PvP guides will tell you different, but this is what works for me.

Arena: This is the most intense pvp of them all. You need to play to near perfection to do well in any of the brackets, 2v2 3v3 5v5. You will have to put keybinds, mods, and even macros to use to do well in this form of PvP. You need to use a voice chat program so you can swiftly relate tactics to other players as well. Make sure to always be relating anything you can to your team so they can act accordingly. Mostly we never rush at the enemy, and this is probably what they are expecting. We play a small game of hide and seek to lure them into thinking we are scared. A little bit afterward we all hit them with everything we got. This has given us a great jumpstart on them even taking out much stronger opponents.

All of these were tips I use in PvP and I do quite well. After playing for hundreds of hours I have made my PvP skills perfect through the use of a WoW Pvp Guide. Through the use of these WoW PvP guides you will find all the best tips for doing well and never losing.
