Chinese Take Over Warcraft Gold Farming

In the exciting world of MMORPG, World of Warcraft and Warcraft gold farming have become increasingly popular among gamers. In the game of Warcraft, gold is the currency used. Warcraft gold farming is when a player spends huge amounts of time on a mundane activity like killing the same monster over and over. They wait for the creature to spawn and then kill it each time because it is known for dropping either rare items or big amounts of gold.

Some people use an automatic clicker or automatic bot that is set up on their computer to do their fighting for them. This way they don’t have to sit on their computer and fight the entire time and can fight for hours and days straight. Along with the Warcraft gold farming, people also use this technique to power level.

In-game groups form that do this type of Warcraft gold farming. These groups are sometimes known as sweatshops or gold farms. Players in these groups spend time farming for gold so they can eventually sell it off for real world cash. This sort of thing is frowned upon by other gamers however and in many MMORPG games it is illegal and can lead to being banned from the game.

The first true MMORPG came out in 1997 but problems with gold farming didn’t arise until about 2001 when people realized that they could make real world money off selling their in-game items and gold. In 2001 the Blizzard company came out with World of Warcraft and Warcraft gold farming started to become an issue. Since then, entrepreneurs in the U. S. And South Korea both saw it as a chance to start making money. They began hiring people to sit and play the game all day and paid them a minimal salary for it while they themselves earned millions of dollars in a single month.

Because the Blizzard company owns the game and all rights to it, they also own all of the contents of the game including rare items and gold. It is against their rules to sell these things for a real world profit. The company is currently cracking down on Warcraft gold farming. People who get caught selling gold or rare items for real money are getting their accounts cancelled. Unfortunately this doesn’t do much as people just need to buy a new game and re-register.

With the new in-game spam reporting action, people can easily report instances of Warcraft gold farming. These farmers are often called loot ninjas and are considered greedy. They make the game less fun for many players. Most of these loot ninjas live in other countries and don’t speak the language of the server they play on. This can make communicating with them difficult but because of their responses, sometimes red flags are raised.

A recent study shows that over one hundred thousand people that live in China are employed as Warcraft gold farmers for various companies. These players work anywhere from twelve to eighteen hour shifts at a time. These workers also make the bare minimum of one hundred fifty to two hundred fifty U. S. Dollars a month equivalent. The rise in Warcraft gold farming has produced a number of gold farming brokerages.

Luckily, the Blizzard company is not only banning people caught Warcraft gold farming, they have extended the warnings to buyers as well. People caught buying these things can be temporarily suspended from the game as well as have the item they bought taken away. So not only do you spend your real world money you lose the item and lose playing time.
